Principal's Message

 

Greetings,

The countdown is on for the start of the 2025-26 school year. This year is going to be a "Game Changer" for academics and attendance. I want to welcome everyone to Daly Elementary School.  

 

For families that are new to Daly Elementary, we want you to know that you are coming to a wonderful place to learn and grow. Daly Elementary has an incredible and caring staff and is the perfect place to do the most important work in the world! There is no other place to be, and I am delighted that you will be a part of this amazing school family. 

 

This year we welcome to the Daly Elementary family/staff our new 5th grade teacher, Ms. Claire Murphy and our new 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Catherine Kalafus. They both come to us with a wealth of experience, excitement and knowledge that will help students build their capacity to develop into successful learners. I also want to take this opportunity to formally welcome our Student Advocate, Ms. Tamesha Murray to the Daly Elementary family. She joined our family back in March of 2025 and has become an integral part of learning and social emotional support for everyone.

 

As we take this new journey together, we pledge to students and parents that this will be a year of rigorous, relevant and engaging work in our classrooms along with special events and activities. We invite you to join us for these special events and activities. Your involvement and support in your child's education is priceless. 
Remember, daily attendance is extremely important! Westwood Wins When Bulldogs Attend!
